Key Objective:
We are looking for a Junior IT Vendor Specialist to support IT procurement and vendor management processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with initial experience in vendor coordination or purchasing, who is eager to grow in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential IT vendors based on business needs
• Support onboarding processes for new vendors, including documentation and coordination
• Help monitor vendor performance by collecting and organizing key data and reports
• Assist in contract preparation and renewal tracking under the guidance of senior team members
• Maintain good communication with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration
• Support in identifying and reporting potential risks or issues in vendor operations
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of procurement processes
• Willingness to learn and develop negotiation and vendor relationship skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., supply chain, procurement, or IT) are a plus
Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, vendor support, or purchasing—preferably in the IT sector
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with tools like 1C, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement/ERP systems is a plus
Languages:
• Fluent in Azerbaijani (written and spoken)
• Working proficiency in English and Russian
